We recently visited Desi Dhamaka in Edison, New Jersey. Overall, the experience was good and reasonably priced. The food was decent, the portions were generous, and the service was okay. I wouldn’t describe the food or atmosphere as exceptional, but it is a good place for a casual meal. The Chicken Majestic was one of the better dishes we tried and had good flavor. The Mutton Sukka was also very good. We also tried the mandi, which was okay, and the portion size was quite good for the price. Overall, Desi Dhamaka offers decent food, fair prices, and satisfying portions. Nothing extraordinary, but a perfectly fine place to visit if you are in the Edison area and looking for Indian food.

Loved their Chicken Dum Biryani, some of the best-cooked rice and perfectly cooked meat I've had in the US recently. It was an unplanned visit and totally worth it. We even did a repeat order of the biryani and will definitely be back!

Food was delicious and felt authentic Andhra taste. They were able to accommodate our need and prepared food as per our desire and taste is upto mark. Best part is it's completely affordable. Truly recommend this place for anyone seeking authentic Andhra taste and will be going to this restaurant again, whenever we visit NJ.

Nice food

We had an amazing experience here! We walked in with a large group of 20 people without a reservation, and the staff handled everything so smoothly and professionally. They were incredibly accommodating, the food came out fresh and delicious, and the service was top-notch throughout. Truly impressed by how well they managed such a big group - highly recommend!

Overall food was amazing! We ordered Goat potlam pulao chicken mughlai, naan, and chicken dumplings biryani. Mandi was the best almost as good as you get in Hyderabad. Other dishes were good too but mandi stole the show. Will go again!

Biryanis are worth a try and egg fried rice is must order. I don't miss Dallas food anymore...I enjoyed time and service.
